TetherView Hosts Car Show in Support of the Marine Academy of Science and Technology
On June 30, visit Fort Monmouth’s historic Russel Hall for the Marine Academy of Science and Technology’s (MAST’s) Car Show, hosted by TetherView. All proceeds will benefit students working on their senior project — an opportunity to design and build energy-efficient vehicles to compete in Shell’s Eco-Marathon.
MAST, a specialty high school, is part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District. The school’s mission is to “strive to develop literate, ethical and productive members of society empowered to meet the challenges of a global community by providing a rigorous academic environment with a core specialization in marine science and technology.” MAST students are taught a variety of marine science and engineering courses, in addition to a regular high school curriculum. Additionally, students are cadets of the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. #InnovateFortMonmouth
